Apple's new 24-inch LED Cinema Display, announced alongside the new MacBook and MacBook Pro at Apple's October Notebook event, will be shipping ahead of schedule, arriving in the next 7-10 days. The new Cinema Display is designed to work with the new DisplayPort connection on the newer Apple laptops, so if you have an older Mac there's no need to spend the $899 on this display.
