Apple's new chief of iPod and iPhone engineering has been ordered to stop work by a U.S. District court judge.

Mark Papermaster, formerly of IBM, has been ordered to stop working for Apple immediately by a U.S. District court judge. Papermaster recently replaced Tony Fadell as the chief of iPhone and iPod engineering, but he's now being investigated for possibly breaking the non-compete clause from his contract with IBM. Papermaster claims that Apple and IBM are not direct competitors as IBM focuses on the enterprise market, whereas Apple focuses on the consumer market.
