Leaked screenshots of the upcoming version 2.2 of Apple's iPhone firmware show improvements to the App Store, including podcast downloads. The App Store adds a new categories display using large icons for each. From within the store, you'll now be able to download podcasts individually, or set up subscriptions. The files will be limited to 10MB if you're downloading over AT&T's network, but the cut-off can be avoided by getting online via WiFi. A few other minor tweaks pepper the update, including Safari updates and adding transportation options in the Maps application. No word has been made on when the new release will be available to users.
