Currently only available in Japan for about $220, the Buffalo HD-NH500S/M is a 500GB 2.5-inch 5,400rpm SATA hard drive that could provide quite a bit of extra space for your laptop. If you're looking to do high-end video editing the 5,400rpm speed keeps this 500GB drive from being the ideal answer to your needs, but if you're just looking for more space for photos, MP3s, and videos that you're planning to watch, then this monster-sized drive could be a good upgrade for your SATA capable laptop once it arrives stateside.
