According to Apple Insider, despite recent rumors that Apple might be doing away with the Mac mini, an Apple executive care person recently called one concerned customer on the phone to assure him that Apple's diminutive computer "was a popular machine and to be patient."
If Apple Spokesman Bill Evans was telling the truth when he said "Our holiday lineup is set," however, your patience for a new Mac mini will need to stretch past the holidays. In all likelihood, this news means that new Mac minis will be unveiled at Apple's January Macworld event.
