Dash, makers of the Dash Express, are ending manufacture of GPS devices in favor of licensing their software to other devices.

Dash Navigation, makers of the Dash Express internet-connected GPS system, have decided to end manufacture of their own GPS hardware in favor of licensing their software and operating system to other GPS manufacturers. They also cut 50 jobs as part of the restructuring.
