Circuit City continues to spiral towards going out-of-business as it makes plans to close 155 stores. This is just on the heels of news that the company faces stock exchange delistment due to its share price being so low for the past month. The affected stores notified employees over the weekend and will be firing them sometime before the end of the year. Company insiders report that customers having warranty or return issues will have to visit a store not on the chopping block to get any service — the closing stores will be liquidating their stock and only that: no Firedog services, no car audio installs.

Although the thousands of employees will certainly feel the pain of this move, does it affect you as a consumer? With all the ways to buy online, do you still purchase electronics at brick-and-mortar stores? If so, does seeing a big name like Circuit City closing so many stores change your attitude towards them? Share your thoughts with us below.
