This is definitely one way to make a marketing splash. As part of a $300 million advertising campaign to counteract Apple's popular "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads, Microsoft has erected a physical booth literally right on front of an Apple Store in Birmingham, UK. Inside the kiosk is a recording booth where passersby are solicited to come in and record their own "I'm a PC" segments to be used in the campaign, which attempts to "reclaim" the "I'm a PC" image as a positive one. AppleInsider snagged a photo of the kiosk (above), located almost comically close to the iconically-logoed storefront behind.
