Following its OLED display tech demo, Samsung showed off a 63-inch plasma screen at the FPD trade show with a stunning 4096 x 2160 resolution, surpassing even quad full high definition displays. In order to fit so many pixels into the screen, Samsung engineers reduced the size of the barriers between cells and rerouted electrical contacts going to each pixel. This tech isn't announced for commercial sets yet, but that makes sense, considering the lack of super-high definition content to take advantage of such a screen.
