The arrival of the HP Mini 1000 comes as no surprise given that details of the device were leaked this weekend by HP themselves, but today HP officially announced three models of the new netbook: the HP Mini 1000 with Windows XP Home Edition is available today for $399, the HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition is expected in mid-December for $699 (fashion has its price), and the HP Mini 1000 with MIE (Mobile Internet Experience), which is a model running a custom Linux build, will arrive in January for $379.
