The Lenovo IdeaPad S10e netbook is now shipping with a custom Lenovo QuickStart branded version of Splashtop Linux installed alongside Windows XP. This version of Linux is geared to offer near instant boot up, so that you can launch the netbook directly into whatever application or task you need to complete. Instant-on features include instant launching into a web browser, a music player, your photos, chat, or Skype (a chat and VoIP client).

If you need to access other features or files on the IdeaPad S10e, you can easily boot into Windows XP for a fuller, albeit slower to launch, computing experience.  See the conversations below for more details.
