Good news for both developers wanting to build applications for the iPhone and iPod touch for distribution via the Apple App Store and writers / book publishers interested in writing about developing for Apple's mobile platform: Apple's original aggressive non-disclosure agreement that has prevented many from talking about their experiences developing Apple mobile applications, which had previously been dropped, has now been replaced with a new, friendlier NDA thanks to a new contract.

As a result of the change, Apple has even opened up new developer forums on their site where developers can now share ideas and discuss their projects. Long-term, this should mean more and better apps for the iPhone and iPod touch.
