Google Android's development roadmap reveals that phones with touchscreens running Google Android as their OS, like the T-Mobile G1, will be getting on-screen keyboards some time in Q1 2009.

This will also mean that developers building programs for the platform that will be available in the Google Android Marketplace will be able to add touchscreen keyboard functionality to their applications.
