The drives are notable for supporting four different connection options: eSATA, USB 2.0, and both Firewire 400 and 800. The OWC Mercury Pro SW-5583 costs $499.99 as the entry level unit, whereas the $579.99 OWC Mercury Pro SW-5583T comes bundled with a full retail version of Roxio Toast 9 Titanium for Mac OS X.
