Today in London, Samsung announced the Samsung I7110 cellphone which will be on display for the first time at the Symbian Smartphone Show (Oct. 21-22) in London. The I7110 is a 12.9mm thin candy-bar phone running Symbian S60 as its operating system and featuring a 2.6" AMOLED screen capable of displaying clear images in direct sunlight. This 3G phone features WiFI connectivity, integrated GPS, and Bluetooh 2.0. With the combination of the AMOLED screen, the integrated GPS, and an FM-transmitter that will allow the I7110 to broadcast voice navigation instructions to a driver's car stereo, Samsung is pitching the device as a "personal navigator" to help you find your way around.

The Samsung I7110 comes with 50MBs of internal memory, a MicroSD card slot for expansion, and a 5-megapixel LED flash camera capable of taking both still pictures and recording video. The I7110 also supports video playback of popular formats like DivX and according to Samsung will maintain its charge for 11 hours of talk-time or multimedia usage.

Although Russia should be receiving the Samsung I7110 in November, North American release has not yet been specified.
