Dell has announced that Alienware, their subsidiary company known for custom built gaming laptops and desktops, will be offering the Alienware Aurora Desktop exclusively through Best Buy for $1699.99.

Some of the websites discussing this, like CrunchGear in the conversations below, note that if you are interested in a gaming console, you could probably build your own with readily available parts and very similar specifications to the Alienware Aurora for about $500 less.
