Apple announced its new LED Cinema Display, the first update to the line since June of 2004. The new 24-inch LCD monitor has a more energy efficient LED backlight, and also adds a split three-in-one cable that ties a DisplayPort connector with USB and Magsafe, allowing the machine to completely power a connected MacBook. However, previous MacBook models that don't include DisplayPort, including other desktop models like the Mac Pro, will require additional cables to convert the signal.

Also of note, the display includes a built-in iSight webcam, as well as two built-in speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Other than the notable features, the display supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 in size and is about 7.7 inches thick.
