Sling Media's SlingCatcher is making news for being officially available today, although the SlingCatcher began shipping yesterday and some retailers permaturely released the device. Priced at $299, the SlingCatcher "catches" media that you stream to it via your computer and displays that content to any TV connected to the device. If you have a large media collection on your home computer in your office, you can stream to the SlingCatcher sitting in your living room or to the SlingCatcher attached to your hotel room TV while travelling.
