Marketed as super-fast computer memory for computer game enthusiasts and featuring LED lights, Lexar Crucial's new Ballistic Tracer DDR3 memory may look nice, but average consumers and those who don't need flashing lights on their RAM should probably save their money and purchase standard memory at a more reasonable price. People planning to purchase Intel's Core i7 may want to avoid this memory as it requires 1.8V to run and early reports of the Core i7 indicate that it may not work with memory requiring more than 1.65V.
