Square Enix and NeuroSky have announced they will be demoing game technology using NeuroSky's MindSet biofeedback device at the Tokyo Game Show. The MindSet reads brain waves with a forehead-based sensor, detecting states of either relaxation or attentiveness. Developers have been trying to find a way to integrate the input system into video games for some time, with Sega involved last year, but no commercial product has come out of any alliance yet. Square Enix and NeuroSky will show off what they've come up with - not a full-fledged game, but a demonstration of the possibilities - at the expo on October 9th and 10th.
