Servers meant to provide additional BD-Live content to viewers of the Paramount film Iron Man on the Blu-ray format bogged down under the immense load. Released last week and already the best-selling Blu-ray disc of all time, Iron Man provides access to a downloadable trivia game for customers whose Blu-ray players support the latest 2.0 profile specification, often called BD-Live. The servers set up to allow BD-Live players to retrieve the content weren't able to handle thousands of users connecting at once, leaving many unable to access the service. Paramount has added additional bandwidth to its servers and claims to have resolved the issue.
