Acer is releasing a limited edition version of its F-22 Ferrari-badged 22-inch LCD monitor, dubbed the F-22bid and restricted to 500 units. The normal F-22 is a $310, 1680 x 1050 widescreen monitor with 2-millisecond response time and 20,000:1 contrast ratio. It features VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs, and all features will carry over to the limited edition model. There's no indication yet as to just what will make the F-22bid stand out; pictures show it as identical to the F-22, with not even a color variance. What the limited edition will add to the F-22's price has not been announced.
