Sony Ericsson has been working on a Walkman-badged mobile called the Rika, revealed by the discovery of several pictures over the last few weeks. Reports describe the Rika as essentially a Sony Ericsson G705 slider, but identified as part of the Walkman line - it's unknown if that means it will be getting extra storage for digital media. If the Rika keeps the G705's functionality, it will be a 3G UMTS/HSUPA model packed with an aGPS receiver for Google Maps, WiFi connectivity with web browser, and a 3.2-megapixel camera with integrated YouTube software support. The G705 will be available in the US in 2009, but there's no word yet on the Rika.
