HP has quietly released its first 15.6-inch widescreen laptop, the G60, currently available for $630 at Circuit City as the G60-120US. Powered by 200GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, this model offers up some very decent features for its price, including 3GB of RAM standard, a 5,400RPM, 250GB hard drive, and perhaps most attractive of all, discrete graphics in the form of NVIDIA's GeForce 8200M card. Other components in the Windows Vista Home-based machine include an 802.11n radio for WiFi, 5-in-1 memory card reader, and a DVD burner with Lightscribe.
