Adobe unveiled its latest update to its Creative Suite, which features native GPU acceleration of applications to enhance performance, native 3D support added to many applications and a new workflow aimed at streamlining application integration. Adobe CS4 includes the latest versions of industry-standard design software including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premiere. Among the laundry list of updates, Adobe has added support for some of its popular online apps, like color palate creating Adobe Kuler, to be directly integrated into its desktop software. The new bundle ranges from $1,700 to $2,500 depending on bundled software and is available now.

It's nice that they optimize the app for existing software. But it sounds like more of a bug fix and hardware support patch to existing software. How significant is this new workflow going to be, and will people pay for it?
