Korean-based Averatec announced its new 10.2-inch Buddy netbook. Like others in the sub-notebook genre, the Buddy's primary features are its small size and its small price, at $450. The laptop features a 160GB hard drive, a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and runs Windows XP. No word on release date yet, but the notebook is confirmed to be heading to the US.
