Nintendo executives Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime indicated that a solution is forthcoming to solve the Wii's lingering storage crisis, but declined to provide specifics. The duo, interviewed by a Latin American publication, noted that other technologies besides hard-drives were being pursued as a remedy. The Wii currently ships with only 512MB of memory, and with more downloadable games available for WiiWare and the virtual console, players could potentially deplete their storage with little means to increase capacity.
