Canon builds on its PowerShot camera line with the 10-megapixel A1000 IS and A2000 IS, and the 9-megapixel SX110 IS.  At 5.47 ounces, the $200 A1000 (pictured) is the lightest camera available in the PowerShot A series, but that means it gets a slightly smaller screen and less-powerful zoom than the $250 A2000.  The two are functionally almost identical to the recently-announced PowerShot E series for teens.  The ultra-zoom SX110 weighs in at only 9 megapixels, but compliments its 3-inch screen and pop-up flash with a hefty 10x optical zoom.  Canon says all three models are accessible to novices with an "Easy Mode" of operation, automating exposure options for best performance, contain optical image stabilizers for clear shots, and are powered by DIGIC III Image Processors.
