ASUS has announced its flagship business notebook, the Core 2 Duo-based B50A. The 15.4-inch WXGA/WXGA+ screen, featuring a keyboard-illuminating LED up top, is powered by Intel's GMA X4500HD chipset. ASUS equips it with a five-hour battery to allow plenty of time to work with data stored on the DVD+DL burner or up-to-320GB SATA hard drive. Standard business features, such as a fingerprint scanner, secure Trusted Platform Module chip, and a spill-resistant keyboard to protect against accidents, contribute to the machine's security and durability. Pricing information is not yet available.
