Sony announced its S, E and B-Series of Walkman portable media players at the IFA show in Berlin. The 7.5mm thin S-series (pictured left) comes in 4GB ($150) and 8GB ($180) capacities, and features enhanced sound quality, with the higher end S730F model sporting noise-canceling tech when coupled with Sony's EX-series earbuds. The E-series (pictured right)  looks to be a budget device, coming in at $100 for 4GB of storage, and $140 for 8GB. Both the E and S-series Walkmen have video-playback capability and support many different formats, including WMV DRM-protected video files, AAC, MP3 and even linear PCM for lossless audio playback. Lastly, the B-series (pictured middle) is Sony's entry-level device, costing $45 for 1GB and $60 for 2GB, and includes an FM-tuner.

All devices should be available in September worldwide.

What is the plural of "Walkman:" "Walkmen," "Walkmans," or "Walkpersons?"
