HP targets business users with Centrino 2-based Compaq 6730b
15-inch notebook offers dual 3G broadbard options

HP has announced its first business notebook based on Intel's Centrino 2 platform, the 15.4-inch Compaq 6730b. Available with either Core 2 Duo or Celeron processors, this model offers users a number of nice options, including HSDPA/EV-DO, 802.11 draft-N, dual HDD bays, and three separate screen configurations. The only preconfigured model currently being offered, with a 2.40GHz Core 2 Duo chip, 3GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive, goes for $1,690.
