Dell acquisition Alienware has once again launched a gaming notebook with some of the most powerful components in the industry available as options, including a Core 2 Duo Extreme processor, dual nVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX cards in an SLI configuration, and up to one terabyte of storage. Noticeably absent from the 10.5 pound Area-51 m17x, however, is the choice of a Blu-ray drive, despite the 17-inch model's 1,920 x 1,200 full HD resolution. Prices for this model start at $2,199, though a nicely configured system will cost a good deal more.
