HTC is preparing  to deliver a CDMA version of its Windows Mobile-based Touch Diamond smartphone to Sprint customers later this month, according to company Chief Financial Officer Cheng Hui-ming. He also spoke of increased carrier interest in the firm's first handset to run on Google's Android platform, which will be released sometime in the fourth quarter. Shares rose 3.1% on the Taiwan Stock Exchange following the positive revenue forecast.
