LG is readying its first HDTV with an eye popping 1,000,000 : 1 contrast ratio HDTV. The 1080p, 47 inch 47LG90 sports an LED backlight that can dim different regions of the screen depending on the scene, leading to extremely deep blacks. This LCD features other standard specs you'd expect in high-end TVs, like 120Hz motion processing, invisible speakers and three HDMI connections. Expect it to hit store shelves this September for $3,599.
