According to the trade association group Consumer Electronics Association, the industry is on track to see $173 billion in revenues this year, a 7.3% growth over last year. Additionally, CEA analysts predict $183 billion in sales for 2009, with digital displays like LCDs and the videogame ecosystem contributing over $20 bilion each in sales.
