General Motors is working on a high-tech windshield aimed at helping elderly drivers and drivers with reduced vision see driving obstacles more clearly. The windshield features lasers, infrared sensors, and a camera that aims to help people navigate the road a little easier. For instance, GM showed off one example of a laser projecting a blue line onto the windshield that follows the edge of the road when visibility is poor, such as on a foggy night. There's no timetable yet as to when the windshield will be available in any production vehicles.
