Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Linksys WRT54G is a wireless router that allows up to four 10/100 Ethernet connections and provides a Wireless-G (802.11g) access point for computers within the network radius. The WRT54G shares one incoming Internet connection at speeds up to 54 Mbps, compatible with all 802.11g wireless devices, though firmware upgrades may be necessary to reach the latest wireless-g standards. The router also supports 128-bit WEP encryption and WiFi protection for security measures. As one of the first open source network devices, the Linksys WRT54G has several firmware options for those who prefer to customize, including firmware projects such as OpenWrt, DD-WRT, and Tomato. Prices for the router start at $59.99, but if users want a speed upgrade they can purchase the WRT54G with SpeedBooster with wireless-g upgrades for an extra $40.
