Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Intended as a hybrid between "the comfort of a desktop mouse and the portability of a laptop mouse," the Microsoft Arc Mouse folds from a full-length form factor to a 60% smaller portable form.

It has a 30-foot wireless range to its 2.4 GHz USB receiver — more than you'd need in most situations. Apart from the standard scroll wheel, you'll get a battery status indicator on the mouse itself, and a button that opens the Flip 3D interface in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Previously the Arc Mouse was available only in black, but Microsoft introduced special edition colors (white, purple, green, and blue) alongside its cooling base in March of 2009. The mouse sells for $49.95 in all colors.
