Zeo's Personal Sleep Coach is a two-piece device designed to emulate the services offered by a sleep clinic. The two pieces are a headband and a bed-side display. You wear the headband when you're trying to go to sleep, and it detects the frequency and type (R.E.M., light, etc.) of sleep you're getting.
The headband transmits this information to the bed-side display. That'll tell you how many minutes of each kind of sleep you got, how long it took you to fall asleep, how often you woke up (which you may not remember the next day), and your "ZQ" — a proprietary measurement to let you know the general quality of your sleep.
The device also features an SD card slot so you can transfer this information to your computer and to a web-based interface. All this is available now for a somewhat-steep $399.
