The Thanko DVI-HDMI USB 2.0 is a USB adapter designed to transfer either DVI or HDMI video from a normal USB 2.0 port. According to Akihabara, you will be able to achieve a resolution of up to 1600 x 1200 UXGA with the adapter. This version in available in Japan for about $100, but if you are looking for a better deal you may be interested in the OWC adapter, which converts DVI signals to VGA with a third adapter for the same price.
