The iPad has landed.

The Chumby One follows a previous model simply dubbed the Chumby Classic, and both devices have similar functionality. They're small, Wi-Fi-enabled computers that you can put on the counter or some other surface, and they run a modified version of Linux that executes various widgets. For example, you can play Pandora radio stations or display Google News stories.

Development for the Chumby is totally open, so you can get widgets that weren't made by the manufacturer or make your own if you know how.

The Chumby One adds a battery power option so you can move it without turning it off, and a faster processor. It can also play FM radio stations. It comes with a 2 GB microSD card for storage and costs $99.95.
