Toshiba's Tecra R10 is a business-focused notebook running a Core 2 Duo processor at 2.4GHz and equipped with 4GB DDR2 memory and a 15.4-inch screen. Weighing in at 4.3 pounds, the R10 upgrades the existing Tecra S10 by adding a new CPU revision with double the on-board cache, coming configured with twice the default amount of RAM, and losing two pounds of excess weight.

The Tecra's 1280 x 800 WXGA screen is powered by an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 150M graphics chipset that supports up to 749MB shared video memory, along with 128MB dedicated to the display. Wireless options include 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi and Enhanced Data Rate Bluetooth. The R10 ships with a 200GB hard drive and multi-mode CD/DVD burner, and includes an eSATA port for adding an optional high-speed external drive.
