The Sony VAIO SZ series are 13.3-inch LED backlit widescreen notebooks. Weighing in at 4 pounds and an inch thick, the VAIO SZ is made of durable carbon fiber material. Bluetooth and Wireless LAN come standard, as does an internal DVD+-RW Dual Layer optical drive. Also included are a fingerprint sensor for added security, camera and microphone, a host of expansion ports and optional software. The processor for the SZ series is an Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 and a maximum of 4 GB RAM is also supported, while the notebook comes with 2 GB standard.
