Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Sony Vaio TT was one of the first ultra-portables to sport Blu-ray disc playback and recording capability.

The laptop came with an 11.1-inch LCD display at 1366 x 768 resolution, 2 GB RAM, a 120 GB hard disk drive, a webcam, an HDMI output, Bluetooth, and of course Wi-Fi.

Pricing for the Sony Vaio TT started at a steep $2,125, and picking all the top configuration options could drive that all the way up to $4,450, but Sony discontinued the model in August of 2009.
