Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Revealed on August 24th, 2009, the Nokia Booklet 3G is the first netbook offered by Nokia, a manufacturer primarily known for cellphones. The Booklet 3G will run Windows 7 and features a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, 120GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, 720p screen, and a 1.3-megapixel camera. With these specifications it's pretty much the same as just about any other netbook on the market with the addition of 3G internet connectivity, Ovi Maps and AGPS pre-loaded.

Nokia also claims 12 hours of battery life on the Booklet 3G, although no independent testing has yet been conducted.

On October 13th Nokia revealed that the Booklet 3G will sell for $299 with a 3-year contract on AT&T's 3G network, and $599 on its own. Its launch will coincide with that of Windows 7 on October 22nd, 2009.
