Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The MSI Wind U210 is based on AMD's Yukon platform instead of the ubiquitous Intel Atom setup, but performance should be comparable. Like most Intel Atom processors, the AMD CPU is clocked at 1.6 GHz. This netbook also has one gigabyte of RAM in its base configuration, a 12.1-inch display, a 160 GB hard drive, and an ATI Mobility Radeon X1250 integrated graphics chip.

You'll be able to pick it up this September with Windows XP at $379. A higher-end model that includes Vista Home Premium, 2 GB of RAM, and a 250 GB hard drive will sell for $429.
