The MSI GT628 gaming laptop is one of the first US-bound computers to use NVIDIA's new GeForce GTS 160M graphics card. The card coupled with the laptop's 1GB memory makes it close to 50x faster than some older systems when playing graphics-heavy games. The notebook is expected to include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor; 1680x1050 display, and have a 320GB hard drive. All of the computers will have a 2-megapixel webcam and HDMI output stndard, with a Blu-ray reader and extended 9-cell battery offered as upgrade options.
The MSI GT628 is expected to ship in mid-April 2009, no pricing information is currently available.
