Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Developed by Microsoft subdivision Pioneer Studios, the Courier is a tablet PC-like device currently in the late prototype stages of development. It's actually a booklet; it opens up to two side-by-side, 7-inch screens with a hinge in the middle. The hinge houses a "home" button, and the screens accept input from either a stylus or your fingers. Gestures can be performed to move items from one screen to another.

The device also has a camera on the back, though the intended function of the camera is not yet clear. The device seems to borrow elements from Microsoft Surface. The company hasn't made any announcements as to when the Courier will become available to the public, or how much it will cost.
