The iPad has landed.

The Medion Akoya Mini E1312 has an 11.6-inch display, a 160 gigabyte hard drive, and 1 GB of RAM. Yep, it's a netbook! Unlike other netbooks, though, it drops the standard 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor in favor of an equally discrete AMD Sempron 210U CPU.

The integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics chip is a boon too, if you're accustomed to the pitifully weak Intel graphics chips you'll find in most laptops at this size. There's even an HDMI port for connecting to HDTVs and the like, and an option for a 9-cell battery for very strong battery life. There's a 1.3-megapixel webcam for Skype calls, and the laptop runs Microsoft Windows XP.

It wil arrive in Great Britain on July 12th for £339.99 ($554), with no news yet on a North American date.
