This 14.1-inch updated version of Lenovo's T400 model business laptop goes for an unusual balance between performance and size. While it will win few points for style otherwise, it measures at 0.83-inches thick.
The hardware crammed into those 0.83 inches includes a very beefy 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, a choice between a Blu-ray or DVD drive, and a choice between a 250 GB hard drive or a 128 GB solid state drive.
Given all the other respectable hardware, Lenovo seems to have skimped a bit with the video solution; it's just an Intel integrated graphics chip. Pictures seem to indicate that a fingerprint reader is at least optional, though.
Configurations start at $1,599, and the T400s is on sale now at Lenovo's website.
